Saga Dawa Duchen: Treasury of Blessings, Shower of Blessings Tsok Offering

This Sunday afternoon, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. ET, we invite everyone to join in offering tsok and prayers on Saga Dawa Duchen, the auspicious 15th day (full moon) of this holy Saga Dawa month commemorating Buddha Shakyamuni’s enlightenment at Bodhgaya and parinirvana at Kushinagara. It is the most auspicious and powerful day to practice the Buddhadharma, as both virtue and non-virtue accumulated on this day is said to multiply 10 million times.

To recollect the enlightened qualities of Buddha Shakyamuni and all Buddhas and receive their blessings, we will practice Treasury of Blessings (the practice of Buddha Shakyamuni) and perform a Shower of Blessings Tsok Offering. All are welcome to join, and this event will also be live on Zoom and Facebook (links below).

Please feel free to bring offerings for the tsok, such as fruits, cookies, snacks, flowers, drinks, or liquor.
