Vajrakilaya Gutor and Losar Celebration

All are invited to join the Gutor Puja based on the sadhana of Ratling Phurba on Thursday, February 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Then on the following day, February 28, we will celebrate Tibetan New Year with prayers from 9:00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. The center will be open on this day morning to evening for everyone who would like to visit.

Losar Celebration: Vajrakilaya Gutor & Amitayu Pujas

To clear obstacles and increase positive circumstances in the coming year, NPDC has organized a series pujas at Guru Lhakhang, including Vajrakilaya Gutor and Amitayu. Then on Losar Day, the temple will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This Tuesday & Friday: Teachings With Khenpo Tenzin Norgay Rinpoche

Khen Rinpoche will give a set of Dharma teachings this week, October 10 & 13, on two topics: “Why We Take the Bodhisattva Vow” and “How Dharma Practice and Pujas
Help Loved Ones Who Have Passed.”
All are welcome to join, either on Zoom or in person at the temple.

July 10 – August 10: Palyul Summer Retreat

Established by His Holiness Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche in 1998, the Annual Palyul Summer Retreat is held each year in a beautiful area of Upstate, NY. Lead by Palyul Tulkus, Khenpos, and Lamas, the retreat offers instructions in the Ngöndro, Tsa Lung, Dzogchen Togäl and Dzogchen Trekchö of the Namchö Treasures. Losar Celebration at Guru Lhakhang

January 18, 19, 20, & 21: Vajrakilaya Gutor, Amitayu Puja, and temple open on Losar Day – NPDC has organized these pujas at Guru Lhakhang to help clear obstacles, increase positive circumstances, and receive the blessing of the Three Jewels so that we may start the new year afresh and ensure a smooth year to come.

Kuntuzangpo Prayer on New Year’s Eve & Day

The close of the old and dawn of the new year is also an auspicious time to recite the Kuntuzangpo Prayer (Kunzang Mönlam). Lama Pasang Tenzin will lead this prayer and other important prayers on New Year’s Eve and Day.
