HIS HOLINESS PENOR RINPOCHE'S PARANIRVANA

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, the 11th Throneholder of the Palyul Lineage of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism, entered the final stage of meditation at 8:20 PM on Friday, March 27, 2009. On April 3, he left his meditation and his body was brought in procession to Zangdokpalri Temple on April 9.

His Holiness has lived a life dedicated to benefiting beings and will always remain in our hearts. We pray with devotion that he will continue to enact compassionate activity in this world through his swift rebirth.

HH Karma Kuchen Rinpoche, HE Gyangkhang Tulku Rinpoche, HE Mugsang Kuchen Rinpoche and Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche will be conducting the Palyul Summer Retreat for 2009 from July 10 to August 10 in upstate New York.
